Hi Brad,

Listening to the podcasts and reading the sites I hear a recurring theme that we're all pretty similar structurally at the same height. Is that true of the width of the hips as well or can there be great variance with that, outside of just bodyfat distribution?

Thanks,

MZ

I’m honestly not sure.  Not my area of expertise.   Ask Barban or Pilon.

Hi Brad,

Are the AI Rage workouts included in the AI 2.0 package? I ordered the system in April of last year and, returning to AI after a much-too-long break, and I can't seem to find them on my computer. How can I gain access to these?

Just login to your account:

I've been training for a while now. But i realized my triceps are underdeveloped compared to my biceps. The question is, do I slow down my bicep curls (less weight or reps) and increase my triceps training (pushups, dips, kickbacks) or just increase the tricep exercises a lot? Which one is better and which one is easier? (sorry if this seems like a long question)

I wouldn’t slow down… unless you’re having elbow problems  You’re bicep growth will likely reach a peak and fall off, giving your tris a chance to catch up.

They may be something you have to focus on as well.  For instance, I get huge growth out of everything I can’t see in the mirror.  Back, shoulders, glutes, hamstrings, calves, triceps yet my chest and biceps really lag on me.  Everyone is different.

What's your take on stopping yourself from being a wuss?

Take advantage of technology to help self check.

Text over calls when you’re emotional, so you can pace and think about what you’re saying rather than getting caught up in the moment.

Ultimately, LEAD.  Take control.  Don’t ask, tell.  Things like “I’ve been wanting to try (restaurant, bar, etc) tonight.  You should come with.”

You know when something’s wuss because you’re not being assertive or authentic and by that weird feeling you get in your stomach.  Also, as an aside, there’s some interesting research that suggests that crap feeling is actually tied to your test levels temporarily decreasing.

What do you think of the Bodyforlife program?

Pretty good, although Bill has a new program out called “Transformations” that’s more the next incarnation.

I plan on buying Adonis index tonight and going to the gym as soon as I read it. But I was wondering. if a person can build muscle using eat stop eat .or in a constant calorie deficit . as fast as the could if they ate at there exact basel metabolic rate or slightly over? And could a person buil muscle while on a month long fast?
P.s I don't plan on fasting for a month just curious.

Build muscle on ESE => yes

Constant calorie def => depends on the aggressiveness of the diet

Slightly over would be “better”, just because you have more energy to work with (working out hard in a deficit, you gas out earlier)

A month long fast, no.

Just to clarify it's not only possible to gain muscle while losing fat but you can gain as much muscle as if you were bulking?

It depends on how aggressive your deficit is, and at what stage your fat loss is at.  If you’re getting close to your golden waist, with an aggressive deficit, you’ll lose fat and muscle.

Also, if you’re more aggressive, you generally have less “push” in the gym, which effects “work”, which effects growth.

So yes it’s possible, you just have to have a much more patient approach to dropping fat.

Hey Brad. I don't have the funds to join a gym and not much space for a lot of equipment in my home. I do have a pull and dip bar station though. Can I do the Adonix Index workouts with bodyweight workouts?

All AI workouts require at least dumbbells.  If you’re looking for something you can do bodyweight wise, the guys at ShapeShifter have some good things.
